Jenny is a Consultant Clinical & Health Psychologist working in Brighton and the South East. Having trained at University College London, she has over 20 years experience working with people with a range of emotional and physical health problems.
She works with adults who suffer from depression, anxiety, low self esteem and confidence As a clinical health psychologist she also works with people whose longstanding or complex physical health problems impact on their emotional well-being.
Jenny has specialist expertise in weight loss, obesity, bariatric psychology, emotional eating, and compulsive overeating. She has worked with a number of bariatric services (currently Consultant Clinical psychologist at St George's Hospital) and 'tier 3' weight management services across Sussex. Her book "Cut Down to Size; achieveing success with weight loss surgery" has been highly recommended by bariatric surgeons and dietitians for all patients considering weight loss surgery.
Jenny works primarily within the cognitive-behavioural model, drawing on mindfulness techniques and psychosocial models of health and well-being. She is registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a chartered member of The British Psychological Society.
