BirthSense is a collaborative group that shares the philosophy of normal, safe, gentle birth and bonded parenting. The group started in Cambridge in 2007, and now has has a branch in each of the East Anglian counties, London and in Yorkshire.

We provide antenatal classes (HypnoBirthing and the BirthSense Antenatal Course), self-hypnosis MP3s , post-natal workshops, breastfeeding assistance, baby massage sessions and networking events. We campaign at local hospitals and maternity units to raise the profile of birth with hypnosis, and to bring the best level of care to our members.

Our group contains HypnoBirthing teachers, Clinical Hypnotherapists, HypnoFertility Therapists, Birth & Postnatal Doulas, a Psychotherapist, Psychologist, Infant Massage Teacher, Breastfeeding Supporter and Lactation Consultant. Our General Manager is also a member of the Maternity Services Liaison Committee at the Rosie Maternity Hospital in Cambridge.
